Labiaplasty, Vaginaplasty & Hoodectea Explained
There are many names and terms associated with what many call vaginal rejuvenation. But, what exactly to they all mean? Below we’ve given some very basic explanations of the types of procedures that are often referred to vaginal rejuvenation and a type of patient each procedure could benefit.
Labiaplasty: For women that experience discomfort when wearing tight pants or feel embarrassment about the size of their labia, labiaplasty surgery is the right procedure. One plastic surgeon told me that a client finally decided to get labiaplasty surgery because her labia was so large it fell out of her bathing suit.
Vaginaplasty: After childbirth, or as women age, their vagina can become, in popular terms, “loose.” Vaginaplasty, also known as vaginal rejuvenation, is popular for tightening the vagina and/or improving sexual experience.
Hoodectomy: Also known as “clitoral unhooding”. This is the right procedure for women that have difficulty achieving orgasm due to extra skin surrounding their clitoris.
