About Labiaplasty Surgery.org
I, the founder of Labiaplasty Surgery.org, wanted to provide an unbiased resource for women who, like herself, had a strong desire to get labiaplasty surgery performed regardless of all the controversy and heresay about labiaplasty.
Many sites and surgeons recommend that a person should just "get higher self-esteem" and not consider the procedure, but I personally don't think they understand the anguish, embarassment or obstacles encountered when a person has an oversized labia. Labiaplasty surgery can be the right decision as long as you choose the right plastic surgeon. Throughout my interviews with both patients and doctors, I discovered that the number one factor is making sure you are in the right hands.
Use this site as a tool to ask questions and decide if labiaplasty surgery is the right decision for you. Information included on this site comes from interviews with board certified plastic surgeons, newspapers, magazines, medical journals, and personal experiences. If you know of any articles or resources that aren't included, feel free to contact me at: info@labiaplastysurgery.org.
I have been asked the question "Why Dr. Usha Rajagopal" as the plastic surgeon to answer questions about labiaplasty. In part because she performed my labiaplasty surgery and I was thrilled with the results, and in part because she:
1. Meets all of the requirements specified in "How to Choose a Plastic Surgeon"
2. Has over 12 years experience performing labiaplasty surgery, and has performed over 500 surgeries.
How is Labiaplasty Surgery. org different from other web portals?
Unlike many other web portals, labiaplasty surgery.org does not charge plastic surgeons to advertise on this site. Many portals guise as informational resources, when actually they are charging plastic surgeons thousands of dollars a year to place ads on their site.
I started this site because I understand what it means to be a woman seeking out labiaplasty surgery, I don't advertise, and I don't charge anyone a fee to maintain the site. For this reason, I depend on you, the users to submit your stories, post in the forums, and participate in polls to keep this site an up-to-date informational resource.
